Strong Builders

Every boss was an Employee. They learnt and were sure of mistakes on their profession. But as they turn into BOSS, they forget to work like they were before. Transition occurs too fast. Then whatever the problems they learnt when they were employee, they don't rectify or look for it. In other words, they ignore or their knowledge what makes them confident in opening a business become useless. They become Lazy. They simply become Boss. This is similar to my blog titled  Loopholes-where mistake can happen . But this is related to the construction of Buildings, specifically speaking MEP. These are the things that must be taken care when anything is built. Not after. First Design for the functions, then only for the Aesthetics unless aesthetics is its function. The comfort and functionality of the building should not be compromised in the name of Aesthetics. Some of the key features for stronger bulletproof are as follows: Make everything stronger in itself, so strong like that it is p...

DESIGN MY OWN HOME- PERFECT

Image
DESIGN MY OWN HOME I have always thought of an idea like what would it take to know what makes a right building. From the beginning of my study years, I have been living on rent and never saw a perfect home. Some buildings were very bad, some were average, and some were good but not perfect. What does it really take to build a perfect home. For me, perfect does not mean aesthetically but functionally like proper sunlight in rooms, sound proof toilets, isolation from guest rooms, no privacy issues, leak proof home, smell coming into rooms from outside, proper ventilation, proper bathrooms, no electrical issues and so on. So, this blog will travel with my knowledge, will be modified, edited, updated and so on with time. So what do you think makes the perfect Building? focusing on the living areas first. “Doing a little here and there in multiple rooms will only leave you feeling unsettled and frustrated,” she notes. “The place where you spend the most time should really serve as the focu...

Wire size Calculation-For pump

While working in the sites, sometimes, we need to know the wire size for the pump and other electrical equipments which can be stressful if you don't know how to find the size of the wire. In case of single phase, we can simply use the formula and find out the Current using known voltage and power. But in case of three phase, We need: 1. Power factor=cos Φ = .8 2. Efficiency = .95 3. Voltage= 415 4. Power= known value in HP or kW                           Thumb rule: TO FIND CURRENT flowing through each wire in 3 phase circuit                                                           F or kW, I= 1.8xkW                                    ...

HVAC- Expertise in 3 Mins

Today I am writing some important basic formulas. These are the basic thumb rules in the HVAC industry which even Experts use after they go through several years of complex formula. Because they just work fine. HVAC- Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Application- For Heating and Cooling the Enclosed Environment Capacity Required: 1.         120 sq.ft/Ton→ Very Hot Area 1.         150 sq.ft/ Ton→ in Normally Hot area 2.         180 sq.ft/ Ton→ in Cold Areas Technical terms for Capacity 1 Ton= 3.5 kW of Cooling Capacity (Note: 1 ton consumes almost 1 kW/hr of power and cools 3.5 kW of heat to required level) 1 HP= 0.8 Ton: If someone says 20 HP outdoor units, it is 16 Ton. Pipe size in mm (Liquid pipe/ Gas pipe) (If possible refer to the catalogue): applicable to VRF and Split Units. 6/12: upto 1.5 Ton 9/15: Upto 4 Ton 9/19: 4-6 Ton including 6 T...

Write How?

The more I grow up, I understand  how much writing skill is necessary. Look at my writings. They are boring.  I felt that and have been feeling for long time now. But now I want change. So, today I searched web 12/18/2021. Let's see where this date takes me to. I want you readers to find out the difference. My focus will be on: 1. Use short Sentences. 2. Use Active voice. 3. Write one idea per sentences. Make it simple to understand.  4. Write Simple words, easier to understand.  5. Don't say. Show. Don't say my room is messy. Say "there are clothes scattered all over the floor. "Explain what makes you think so.

Loopholes- Where mistakes can happen

For Fun A few days back, I had an Exam. Government Exam. Dream of Thousands. Thousands of people aspire to be one, built it as a dream since childhood. Its like a trend. As I was eagerly waiting for the Exam, I saw 10000's of people gathering for Exam. An idea hit me. Is really this exam not vulnerable to External Influence? So much of trust in the system. I tried to find out each points where there could be flaws. Question Setters Paper printers Transporters Exam Center Paper receivers Exam Invigilators After Exam situations I saw common solution to all this is to hire government officers who have fear of losing jobs incase they do misconduct. Any involvement of the third parties, not government, can take the control out of government.  Looking at the bug of many websites in the internet, involvement of any third parties app to handle the data base of the major app, can be vulnerable. The major app may not be with bug, but the third party app can be if someone tries to take over i...

CHILLER ACCESSORIES

Some of the basic specifications that are used for special applications are as follows: Cellulose Fill Air Washer: DOL starter : used for starting of AHU: Scrubber:  A  scrubber  or  scrubber system  is a system that is used to remove harmful materials from industrial exhaust  gases  before they are released into the  environment .

Valves- Definition, Differences and Applications

Valves, Definitions and Applications 1.       Ball valve : used instead of butterfly less than 32 mm diameter: Is used to regulate the flow. 2.       Butterfly valve : used to control the flow and used instead of ball valve for > 32 mm 3.       Gate valve: it is used to completely turn off or turn on the flow which ball valve and butterfly valve is normally not used for 4.       Check valve: used for unidirectional flow and avoid back flow. Used normally in discharge line of pumps and where flow happens when certain pressure difference forces for back flow. Provided in the supply side of the machines to prevent backflow into the machine. It does not have any handles or whatever. So, it is easier to recognize. 5.       Strainer: mostly provided at inlet of the machines to avoid the waste enters the machine and damage t...

CALCULATE THE HEAD, GPM AND HP OF THE PUMP

Image
FIREFIGHTING SYSTEM It is very necessary to understand the head loss, GPM, and power consumption of the pump in the firefighting system before installing it in the project. We must be aware of the elevation, number of hydrants, floor area which the hydrant should cover, and also the access to the municipal line for the case of emergency. STEPS:  TOTAL HEAD= HEAD LOSS DUE TO PIPES + HEAD LOSS DUE TO FITTINGS + RESIDUAL                                  PRESSURE REQUIRED AT THE FARTHEST POINT (6.9 Bar/100 PSI) + HEAD                                       LOSS DUE TO ELEVATION (HERE FIRST TWO NEEDS WORK, OTHER CAN                               BE EASILY CALCULATED)          1....

CHECKLIST -HOW TO WRITE STORIES

I loved Cinema and I love more now. I directed some short films. I wanted to be the writer of big Movies. I wrote many stories too. But these stories never got turned into Cinema. Today I want to share basic checklists on story i.e. stories for the movies, particularly. While presenting the stories, we must be asking these questions? 1. Does this scene propel the story forward? We are here to tell the stories, not to show the events. We have target to achieve. Sometimes, the plot lingers in what is not necessary. It can be avoided and story may not demand the scene. So, know what is your final goal and is the scene really helping moving story to the end. Does the character of the protagonist grow with time? Is he growing as a person internally and externally? Does he learn about himself with time? Know what the character wants and what character needs. Need is internal mainly and want is external. Example, if character wants car for fame and chase this goal, story can be concluded ch...
