Criteria For selection of Types of INDOOR Units

 

Wall Mounted:

1.  It is less costly

2.  It does not Need Ceilings.

3.  It needs wall or chipping.

4.  It needs bathroom or toilet Close to it For drain or such facility to discharge water outside the Room.

Summary: The room with or without ceiling with toilet wall attached to room.

Ceiling Cassette:

1.  As its name suggest, it needs Ceilings.

2.  It is good for architecture purpose, it looks good in the room. But while selection we must consider if machine must be seen. For example, if the room is smoky, it is better to use ductable type.

3.  The drain shall pass through the ceilings and take a long route as it can pass over the ceiling.

 

 

Ductable Units

1.  It is preferred if Ceiling is there.

2.  If the cooled air is to be transported to long distance- it is not possible in Ceiling cassette and wall mounted units. The units even if it is placed in the remote location, the air cooled by it can be transported to a distance needy room.

3.  It is less noisy and even if it is noisy, the noise can be reduced by using acoustic or by installing at a remote room.

4.  Static pressure should be taken into account while designing the sytem with the Ductable Units.
